The first quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top medical apps in Central America on a unified platform. According to Sensor Tower data, these apps showed varying patterns in weekly downloads and active users.

Farmacias del Ahorro experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 31K in early January and peaking at 66.7K in mid-February. This growth coincided with a rise in weekly active users, which climbed from roughly 816K at the start of the quarter to over 1.1M by late March.

Doctoralia: pide citas médicas also saw a steady performance with weekly downloads consistently around 30K to 35K. Its active user base expanded significantly, growing from about 316K to 575K over the quarter.

Farmacias Guadalajara maintained stable weekly downloads, ranging from 4K to 6K throughout the period, although specific active user data was not available.

Benavides showed a slight fluctuation in downloads, starting at 4.6K, peaking at 5.3K, and ending the quarter with a decline to 2.3K.
